The documentary Farewell has been awarded the FIAT/IFTA Archive Achievement Award for the most productive initiative that promotes the value and use of audio-visual archives.
The presentation of the Award was the 16th of October in Dublin.

The award is aimed at those working with, or in the archives sector, who have made an outstanding contribution in promoting the value and use of audio-visual archives. Applicants/Nominations for the award may be individuals, groups of individuals, organisations/companies.
Farewell, by Ditteke Mensink and Film Research by Gerard Nijssen, tells the story of Lady Grace Drummond-Hay, the only female passenger on the first journey around the world of the Graf Zeppelin in 1929 and consist solely of archive material.
